STAGES RESTAURANT TEMPORARILY CLOSED Stages Restaurant at Joburg Theatre will be closed from 1 July to 31 October 2025 due to renovations. A temporary restaurant will be open in the Sophiatown on the 2nd floor of the theatre for all productions during this period, including Swan Lake.

South Africa’s Joburg Ballet set to make its UK debut
Joburg Ballet is excited to announce that the company will make its UK debut at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre in London on Thursday 30 October followed by a further three performances through to Sunday 2 November.
Presenting the work of five choreographers in a programme entitled Communion of Light, Joburg Ballet’s London season showcases ballets by South African choreographers Dane Hurst, Dada Masilo, Veronica Paeper and Tumelo Lekana, and Spanish choreographer Jorge Pérez Martínez. Read more
