Ivan Domiciano began dance studies at age 8 in São Paulo, Brazil, training at Clube Coronel Barbosa and Academia de Ballet Lina Penteado. In 2009 he joined Cedan (Cia Estável de Dança) in Piracicaba and Edap (Espaço das Dancas e artes Paulista), both under the direction of Camilla Pupa. He danced as a guest and competed at the XX Seminário de Dança de Brasília where he was awarded a bronze medal and scholarships for the Goh Ballet in Vancouver, Canada, and Ballett Konservatorium in St Pölten, Austria.

In Canada he danced in the Salute to Vienna with the Strauss Symphony of Canada and in Moscow the Austrian Ballet Gala. He has been a guest at festivals such as SINDDANCA Gala do Dia do Professional da Dança in 2012 and in 2014 danced at the Congresso Internacional de Dança the Don Quixote Pas de Deux. In 2012 and 2013 he was a member of the Corpo de Baile do Teatro Trianon in Rio de Janeiro. In 2015, he danced as a guest in Don Quixote (Circuito de Danças Classicas) and at the opening of the XXV Seminário De Dança De Brasília the Diana and Actaeon Pas de Deux. Choreographers he has worked with include Daniela Severian, Tindaro Silvano, Ingo Meichsner, Jolles Salles, Eduardo Bonnis, Vakil Usmanov, Redha, Veronica Paeper and Iain MacDonald.
