Chase Bosch began his training in Johannesburg in 1989 with Noreen Nelson. In 1998 he joined Vanessa Eborall's School of Ballet and was also coached by Dorothy De Witt. In 2004 he was accepted into the South African Ballet Theatre's Graduate Programme, performing the Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Neapolitan Dance in Swan Lake, Jester in Cinderella and Rat King in The Nutcracker.

In 2004 he appeared as a guest artist with the Johannesburg Youth Ballet, North West Youth Ballet and Buffalo City Youth Ballet.

In 2005 he was accepted into SABT’s corps de ballet and promoted to senior corps in 2006. Roles with SABT included the Russian and Spanish Dances in The Nutcracker, Puss-in-Boots in The Sleeping Beauty, Spanish Dance and Pas de Trois in Swan Lake, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Sancho Panza in Don Quixote, the Jester and an Ugly Sister in Cinderella and Franz in Coppélia.

Chase Bosch appeared in the broadcast of SABT’s Swan Lake on SABC2 in December 2007. In 2008 he qualified as a registered sports massage therapist. In 2009 he made his debut as Hilarion in Giselle and appeared in Janice Honeyman’s Pinocchio. He was promoted to Soloist in 2010.

In 2013, while still a dancer with the company, he was appointed Company Manager of Joburg Ballet. In 2015 he retired from dancing but still occasionally performs character roles. Previous commitments with Joburg Ballet also included teaching company class as well as members of the Joburg Ballet Aspirant Programme.
